Hi iam gonna share my experience about wd passport ultra 1tb. It is compatible with usb 3.0 and 2.0 usb connectivity. This is compatible with windows 8 , windows 7, and windows xp. Reformating is needed for mac os. As name suggests its speed is good we can easily transfer files between the computers. Cloud back up system also available. It comes with large memory so we can save many files in one hard disk. Thank you.
