I bought this WD Elements 1TB USB 3.0 Portable External Hard Drive(Black) a few months back.
These are highly delicate from inside and if not handled with care you will lose all your precious data. I am now thinking myself a stupid fool of purchasing it, big mistake of buying this product. I had backed up my entire data bank on my laptop and was thinking that now my data is safe. To my horrible surprise when a few days later I plugged in the USB wire in the USB port of my laptop my Windows 7, Windows 8 both were unable to read the drive. All my data got corrupted and I lost a lot of important data. I am very disappointed for making such a huge mistake buying this device
