Great Car but Pathetic Service Experience

My feedback about the service and my experience at Apple Auto Outer ring road, Bangalore in one word is "Pathetic".


I am not just going to inform the same over the mail but also put it anywhere and everywhere I could on the web.


Reasons:




  1. Taking appointment was just tough as no one replies to e-mails from Apple Auto.




  2. I took appointment and was given a time at 10 am. Like stupid person I reached on time. Only to realize that all the parking was taken by used cars and I had to park 300 meters away in an unsafe place(by the time service representative bother to give me time, someone has scratched my car).




  3. Someone named Chetan was assigned to support me with service.




  4. Finally at 11:15 am after much follow up someone bothered to meet me(not Chetan). Everyone was busy with walk-in customers so I realized it is stupid to take appointment at Apple Auto.




  5. I was given an estimate of 7300 rupee and called to take care within 6 pm same day(impressive).




  6. I received a call during afternoon and told few things need replacement. Break shoe and something that hold engine(a hard plastic material). I am not sure why this breaks everytime when I go for service. I had it changed last time as well. It is surprising to know something is broken twice without even any minor accident and it is not manufacturing fault.




  7. I clearly understood with my previous experience that it is bluff and service centre is just trying to fleece money. So I enquired further about the risks of not replacing the parts. I was told that break may not work if I do not replace the break shoe(even though I told that it is not giving any issue to me at all). I was said it is better to change and I was clearly told a cost of 2800.




  8. I clearly asked not to change anything but break shoe.




  9. I was asked to come at 6 pm. Like a stupid I again show up on time.




  10. At 7:15 pm again after lot of follow up with everyone someone(with fracture in leg who was attending the front desk) reluctantly started my billing process.




  11. I could not find Chetan however I could locate my car which was not even washed.




  12. I get a message on my phone that my car has been delivered without me even getting the bill.




  13. I was charged a whooping 20900 with lots of break related(they had a number to charge me and maintained that without me even replacing the parts they mentioned, amazing). I was charged for replacing series of things including break disc which was not even told to me(and disc is something that does not get spoiled), I was forced to pay and the person who billed it told me that he does not know about the costs and he is billing what service representative(ever elusive Chetan has put on my name).




  14. I had to pay the money if I wanted to see my car.




  15. Entire service team vanished by 7:45 pm. I had to request security person 10 times, not to close the gates as I will not even have a place to sit.




  16. I received a message on my phone that I can give feedback about service to the machine available at reception. I received a password for the same as well. But the machine was not working at all(neither in the morning nor in the evening). I again checked if feedback can be given manually but the response was it can be given only online and the server was down since last could of days so no feedback can be given.




  17. There was bad job done with cleaning up of my car and finally I was given my car at 8:40 pm.




  18. When I received my car no one but a cleaner and a technician was there. No one from the service representative team even bothered to acknowledge me.






So, this service center do not bother about the time they give or promise to their customer. They cheat customer by false information and replace things that are not even required replacement. They go over 3 times of estimated cost and threaten customer that they will not give back the car if money is not paid. The service person doesn't even bother to meet or explain things even once during entire day. What kind of service is this.


Above all they do not have a mechanism to take feedback there.
