Super car. Review on Volkswagen Polo

I owns a VW Polo Diesel Trendline car(White).

I took my car just 2 weeks back and covered 2000Kms, I drove on all type of roads, bumpy roads, offroads, highways, high range roads with hair pin curves etc. it was like a complete test drive for the car.

the best thing I like in this car is its stability and strength of its body. the power delivery is also good.

I would like to share some of my reviews.

Pros.

1. Its has good stability.

   
   




2. Good boot space

   
   




3. Power steering is the best in its class

   
   




4. Good power.

   
   




5. stylish, sporty looks

   
   




6. Very good suspension.

   
   




7. dual tone interior is really nice.

   
   




8. the glove box is spacious.

   
   




9. the body is rigid, strong and the car is heavy. you will feel it in highways at 80+ speed. because it will stick to the road even at 140Kmph.

   
   




10. braking is also good. I didnt try sudden deceleration. but still the car is under control while braking at high speeds.

    
    




11. Its body is so heavy, which gives you a feel that you are secured inside the car.

    
    




12. I got an average of 17Kmpl. I used to drive with AC only.

    
    




13. When speed increases, the steering wheel becomes tight which reduces unnecesssary waving of vehichle at high speed.

    
    

Cons.

1. Not able to lock doors from inside. if kids are there in rear seat, then we have to use child lock. While installing central locking, care has to be taken about the electrical warranty.

   
   




2. Trendline is coming with a single horn, and there is no provision to add one more or loop the wire.

   
   

it may void the warranty.

1. Ground clearance is too less. In bumpy roads, the lower portion of the bumper is hiting the road. Actually this is because of good suspension. it is so smooth. But in indian roads this  has to be taken care by the company.

   
   




2. Rrear Passenger seat travel is not that much comfortable. there is no tilt for the seat. so we have to sit straight.

   
   

if you drive Polo for some time and then switch to swift or Figo, you will really feel the difference.

You cannot compare these models except power.

If polo has 1.4Ltr 4 cylinder diesel engine, then none of the other cars in this segement can compare with it. because power is the only thing missing in it compared to i20, swift, punto.
