A very over hyped car.Get into the car and look at the dash and ac console the first question arises, German engineering and design its put to a test.Taking the Top end diesel polo for a drive.Engine is pretyy good , reasonably powered, you can cut through the traffic returning with 15kmpl with the ac on in the city.Now comes some things which I really felt is bad about the polo.
Ac controls and the vents looked similar to the Indica Vista infact sad.Built on the Fabia chasis and same diesel engine made me think again.i was too curious and asked the sales guy "please tell me frankly about theservice", he answered "sir it is expensive and almost 50% cheaper than the fabia".I was like thats good still how much do you expect for the service of this car he said roughly about 7k for 10k kms.
That is quite expensive.Car rides well suspension is good tank like built , but will drill a hole in my pocket latter half (servicing it lol).8.4 lakhs on road price for the hatch back.I think its over priced car and being german or from the VW stable doesnt mean you should price it so much.People you have N number of other options when it comes to car.Buying a hatch for 8.5 lakhs I dont think its advisable.
