Well I have faced on of the most comedy Incident with Vodafone CC guys. And I have raced the matter with Higher Management of Vodafone. I am pasting below the exact extract of the mail I have send them.


Have fun going through the whole Incident Have a Gala time. If u have fun reading the whole incident. Or even appreciate the pain I have taken to make the matter go to higher management. Or atleast appreciate the pain I have taken in typing all this thing.


Kindly all the Vodafone ppl from Mumbai. call 111 and ask for Nagesh. Or leave the the msg with any person who pick ups ur phone and ask him or her to tell Nagesh That he is doing excellent work at vodafone.


Here is the exact extract of the mail: My Mobile No: 95 (Mumbai No.) TO MY SURPRISE I AM STILL A VODAFONE custom take out ER. THIS IS NOT A JOKE AND THIS IS WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME


I was using ur free 350 SMS @ Rs 35/- service from long time. Then for 1 month I didn't activated ur service as I had my exams and had to go out of town for long time.


Now on 24th April 2009.


I wanted to activate the same free 350 scheme on my cell again. And I came to know that I can activate it easily by sending the SMS from my cell (if I have balance above Rs 35/- which I have.) So ur CC guy told me to send a sms ACT SMS10 to 111. And told me that service will get activated in 3hrs. (Sounds good right)


I did send a sms @ 7:30pm in the evening. And received a request received reply for the same. (350 free sms @ Rs 35/-) Later @ 11:00pm Still service not activated. I called ur CC guys again. (I still remember the guys name Nagesh). He said u should first deactivate the service as I was using it few month ago and had not deactivated it still now and then later activate it again.


Thats was the reason Y my service was still not activated. So Kindly send the sms CAN SMS10 to 111 and the after 1hr send the activation sms ACT SMS10 to 111 again and then my service will be activated in 3hrs. (Freaky but still savvy with his explanation). So I send the cancellation sms CAN SMS10 to 111.


And to my surprise I get a reply sms that the service is not activated on my no. So I get pissed and call ur CC guy again. (The most shocking and comedy sequence of the whole incident)


The CC guy tells me now that it will take 48 HRS to activate the scheme now. (I am hearing this for first time and laughing). I was better that I had just got down my house cross the road tender the cash to the retailer across my bldg and got it activated.


And here comes the Biggest of all blunder. After explaining all the story which has been going with the process of activating the scheme. He tells me that my service will be activated after 48 Hrs and I wont be getting any free SMS and my money would be deducted (Rs 35/-)


(So I get even more surprised). Reason for such a thing to happed. That I had send two sms to Activate the service and then to Deactivate the Service. Thank god I had not send a SMS again to activated it again after 1hrs, as the CC guy told me to do when I called them 2nd time at 11:00pm. Then my 70 rs would have been deducted and would have got only 350 SMS.


That my Boss, is how your CALL CENTER GUY trained for. I do not care for my 35Rs but atleast use this lotted money to trained ur guys properly and make them aware of what they speak and what theyasking custom take outer to do.
