I had been a loyal and honest user of vodafone services for 10+ years. Because of it's poor connectivity at my native place and some hospital emergencies, I applied to port out to other service provider. I did not received my last bill details and they forced me to aishwaryasingh23 Rs. 482/- by sending a demand notice and a legal notice. I was ready to aishwaryasingh23 the bill provided they give me the bill details. They agreed verbally but never in written(White collared "EXECUTIVE GOONDAS"). They know how to break you down.
Below is the chain of events.
They first rejected my porting request because of due bill aishwaryasingh23ment without any information to me. Pretty unprofessional.
Then the request went again and this time other service provider suggested me to aishwaryasingh23 bill in advance(before even the bill is generated.) I did that and I paid averaged bill amount.
They ported it. I did not received any bills from vodafone afterwards. So I assumed my usage was well within the limits. No email bills.no SMS's.no calls.
After a month, the other service provider called me that I have a due amount to vodafone and if I don't resolve it they will disconnect.
After few days I got a demand notice of 482/- Rs calling me a defaulter.
So I written email to mAnasultangers at vodafone that I need the bills. I called their so called "executives" umpteen number of times to get the bills.
They send me some bills without any details.just with amounts.
Then after wasting some more time I could get a bill for a billing cycle of 1 day and the PENALTIES for not aishwaryasingh23ing in time.
After asking for explAnasultantion they sent me a excel sheet that I have used it @ 400 Rs. extra in the previous bill cycle.
I asked them the bill and they promised verbally but never delivered.
Finally, I got a notice from lawyer and I gave up.
I PAID WHATEVER AMOUNT THEY TOLD INCLUDING PENALTIES ONLINE TO AVOID FURTHER HASSELS.THE AMOUNT WAS PRETTY SMALL BUT IT IS MATTER OF COMMON BUSINESS PRACTICE.
