We are a consumer organisation and have been approached bya consumer with a complaint about mis-leading SMS regading use of special services like getting cricket update on hutch connection through SMS.

Sub- wrong plan activated initially on my postpaid application and charged wrongly for my first bill and till the date I changed the plan. Sir/Madam, I requested to activate Hutch plan Talk 399 Roaming ->> where I was to be charged 50 paise / min on a hutch STD number And company activated .. Talk 399 special - >> where I was charged 1Rs./ min on hutch Std number. My 99 % calls were to a particular hutch STD number . Initially – First Bill no. - 0031438300 Relationship number - 1.15414680 Phone number - 9899048300 Dated - 20/9/2006 Period- 20/08/2006 to 19/09/2006 Was for Rs. 3012/- till date ( may be 29/09/2006 ) Now If I deduct compulsory bill amount (which is same for both the plans ) * Monthly rental 22/08/2006 to 19/09/2006 - 373.26 20/09/2006 to 19/10/2006 - 399.00 comes to ----- 772 rupees. + Offers provided in Hutch special 224 rupees . if deducted from Initial Bill amount then .. actual call charges comes to -- Rs. 2016/- which was charged to me @Rs. 1 per minute instead of 50 paise per minute .. that means a loss of Rs. 1008. My complain ID’s to hutch Customer care 1. 391933548 -> Complaint for wrong plan 2. 292124920 -> Request for plan change 3. 292120386 -> again complaint for wrong plan activated and request for adjustment. << No hearings >> will be highly obliged if you go through this and help us by stopping these wrong practices by such renowned companies .. with due regards Arun Kumar gupta 1203 Lodhi complex Opp. Nehru stadium New delhi – 110003
