I had taken a connection from Hutch during the month of May 2007. I had approached one of the employees, Mr. X (Ph No 9846xxxxxx), for the same. I am an Airtel subscriber, and I had planned to take a Hutch connection as my secondary connection, for connectivity with my parents and other family members who have Hutch connection. I had told the executive that I needed a connection with a rental of Rs. 150 or below. The executive presented a package, which I agreed to and signed the application form. *
As my permanent address was in Trivandrum, my bills were sent there, and hence I was not able to check my first bill. I got a call from customer care to pay my bills, and I paid Rs. 500 towards my first bill. Subsequently, I have received my second bill, and I was surprised to see that I had been offered a Rs. 499 rental package.*
My call charges for a month comes to only Rs. 30 - 50 rupees, for which I have been paying Rs. 500 as rental!!!! I subsequently called up the executive, who agreed to that there has been some error, and promised to look into it. I also contacted Mr. Y ( Ph No 9846xxxxxx), from whom I received the same reply. It has been xx days since I have received this reply from him.>
