Vodafone is struggling in India to find a foothold thanks to the supreme court levying a hefty fine as well as denial of spectrums. Vodafone does not have 3G in many states and where they have, it is as good as 2G.
Although the support staff are extremely courteous and helpful but the overalll service provided by Vodafone is just not enough for them to help customers.
I would love to have the services of Airtel and Servicing staff and costing of Vodafone merged as this would make the best of customer experience.
In South, especially Bangalore, Vodafone has got a personal customer care staff allocated for me and every now and then free movie tickets was an added attraction over and above the cost effective services. They even had a tower renovated near my house on my complaint. No service provider will do that for you but alas the 3 G issues take the sheen out of services. Hope in future, they are able to get 3 G spectrum and boost customer confidence.All the best.
