Sometimes, the sheer audacity and arrogance of service that Vodafone conducts is services should be the only reason why, in fact, the tax case should be revived - and vociferously fought at the second stage by the state. A general consensus needs to be built around that fact. And the media should make the people aware that this is just another big heist by a British company after probably, The East India Company.

I have been a Vodafone subscriber for 4 years. When I moved to Mumbai from Delhi, I was told that intra-circle number portability - even with the same subscriber - was not allowed. Who would allow it when money can be sapped out of the subscribers talking throat with roaming perpetually on?

It is matter of filing a RTI with the TRAI and DoT, why the 'One-India-One-Number' scheme under Kapil Sibal's favourite National Telecom Policy 2012 is yet to be implemented? The Policy was announced in May 2012. Oh, I forgot it is the 2G Scam Government. It will play along the telecom ownerships. Sorry, my mistake!

But, why should the British Vodafone be worried about these native problems?! So to continue my story, I carried my number (since being a media professional, I don't know how many people have my number - leave alone communicating it to them) and have been on 'permanent roaming' since then. Currently, with a credit limit of INR 17000 and billd raning from INR 7000 - INR 110000 per month, I should be treated like a VIP customtakeouter.

That's what you think. But the British have their own montrous ways with the vernacular natives. Everytime my bill payments move over to the next billing cycle, Vodafone chooses to kick me out and sever me from whichever cirle, I am in. I am never called, intimated, warned, thratened by phone, sms, email etc. This time its INR 9000 something and they kicked me out. This is the second time, I was booted out. So hence proven that INR 17000 is a joke.

Firstly, what is the bleeding use of the so called 'credit limit' when it is only limited to a single months usage? Secondly, how is a person on roaming supposed to imagine his tarriff movement - without initimation?

Thirdly, in spite of sustained residence change, why is intra-circle portability disallowed totally, even within the same network operator's circle?

Fourthly, if action has to be initiated, why is it not initiated only upon violation of the credit limit and not in the interim - to the operators fancy?

Lastly, what is the single most deciding parameter for high value customtakeouters, in case of default? (a) The billing cycle that affects everybody accross the post-paid board or (b) the credit limit which is so pompously awarded to subscribers?

How dare you throw out a subsriber with a boot on his behind in a move that stuns him and forget that very immunity of 'credit limit' that you have awarded to him! How dare you stop my work when I pay you horrendous amounts in bills?

Truly,
