I had pretty bad experience with Vodafone. Vodafone has designed “Vodafone Live” service such that customers will get easily fooled. This service is active by default and they say; there is no way to deactivate it.
I recently purchased a Smartphone and in next 5 days, ~Rs250 were deducted from my prepaid balance. This was happening silently without giving any message. When I noticed, immediately I contacted Vodafone customer care, Vodafone store, email communications, but all was waste. They never told me details what internet is getting accessed by my mobile. I left clueless of what’s happening and lost all my prepaid balance.
After this frustrating experience I visited https://consumercourt.in portal and found I am not alone. Many have been victim of this Vodafone service already. Then I wrote complaint mail on https://consumercourt.in and also wrote mail to TRAI.
I just wanted to share this experience with you.
