Today I noticed that Vodafone has very quietly charged me with Rs 25 extra towards CUG rentals from this billing cycle onward even with no request/ authorization from my side. I checked my earlier bills and there was no such item. cheated once again

In my postpaid Vodafone 2G connection in Pune, I had requested internet plan of Rs125/1GB to be activated to customer service(request number 1414953250). I was told by the customer rep that it will be activated by 14/10/2013. When I received my bill at the month-end for October, I saw an internet charge in excess of Rs 1000 for usage of around 13MB. When I called then up to find out why, I was told that I should send my grievance to corpcare.mah@vodafone.com.
In reply to my email they just say that the plan has been activated in November. I got same reply for 5 emails I sent. I have not been able to get a reply from them on why the request was not executed in October because of which I had to end up paying Rs 1000 extra or any redressal/reimbursement of the Rs1000 I had to pay for no fault of mine.
