Recently, I transported my mobile number 9818019645 to Vodafone . I submitted all the necessary documents ID, Address proof, photos etc at their Model Town store on 25th Feb., 2012. Connection was activated on 1st March, but again deactivated on 6th March, 2012, without any prior intimation.
After writing complaints to Vodafone customer care and contacting Vodafone Model Town, Delhi store again, I learnt that the services have been deactivated for want of documents. No one in Vodafone is answering" What happened to the documents given on 25th Feb, 2012 ?Why did they not inform me about this requirement before deactivating the services.?
The customer service is sending e-mails , without addressing the proper issue and admitting that Vodafone has messed up with the documents. I am fed up with their excuses.
I have also brought the matter to the attention of Chairman Vodafone and CEO, India. So far there is no response .Documents have been submitted for the second time on 10th March, 2012, but the services are still to be activated.
It appears that even international companies have no concept of customer service when operating in India.
The only way these companies can be made to mind by exposing them and taking them to consumer courts for causing loss due to their inefficiency and poor services.
