If you think Mobile Service Providers practices fraudulent strategies, then you are right dear, all MSP do the same thing, difference is none of them give you refund or customer support, but Vodafone will give refund and customer support(nodal/appellate only).
I have faced lots of issues with Vodafone similar to other MSP but at the end of the day they rectify and speak politely. In rest of MSP like Tata Docomo, Reliance, Uninor, Idea, Airtel all of them will not refund your money and speak rudely with you even you may have contact to nodal/appellate authority. About Aircel and Videocon and rest MSP, I never subscribed for these services.
Now the only thing you will find best about Vodafone in terms of services is Calling Network Coverage to selected areas, Roaming, Vodafone 3G for Google Map.
But I have face issues with Vodafone 2G and 3G in Home location, although being lived at different locations. In history, I have always made complaints regarding 2G and 3G services issues always. And second thing their calling plans are expensive, so I havent complaint about that. But as I am more convenient to use Internet for my mobile and laptop, I prefer Vodafone in prior, but nowadays it is very much disappointing that 3G is working like 2G and 2G is dead like Uninor. Tata Docomo 3G service is excellent and now it is one of the costliest comparing themselves good as other services providers, but not.
I only get the reason that your area network coverage is poor, when several complaints made by me. Now I am wondering which areas are covered under good network. This is the last time I will be using Vodafone Mobile Internet Services. So I will keep my number as alive because of Calling Network and loyal being to Vodafone and I will not use Mobile Internet and Calling services as no good offer is made or entertained.
In some areas Vodafone works good, but not in my case. Vodafone is only focusing on Mumbai areas, as they are high revenue generating for Vodafone India, and rest of the state and services ram bharose. A decade ago Vodafone was working good in Gujarat, but they have lost focused on it nowadays.
