Billing dispute and POOR customer service

Recently I have raised a complaint regarding extra charges for unused services activated. When I raise the complaint at vodafone store, they have promised me that they will arrage a call back within 48 hours. But no call for one month.


I sent a mail to corporate vodafone customer care and nodal ofice and they sent different answers saying that the service has been activated on 23rd Sep and deactivated on 1st Nov. Another mail received from customer care saying that the service has been deactivated on 7th Nov.


Interesting thing is the service has been deactivated by me by sending a SMS and I have received confirmation message too. But their records shows that service has been deactivated using Internet.


I highlighted this point and asked why it is showing wrong and I have asked proof saying that I have activated the service ( because I never activated by SMS or internet. I also don't receive any activation message or message regarding charges for the service). They don't have any reply on this. When I called Nodal office phone number, they have take the complaint/reference number and said within 2 hours they will arrage a call back. But no callback.


My connection is a corporate one and I don't expect this type of customer service and invalid information from VODAFONE.


At vodafone store, the executive sent a mail to their backend dept saying that customer will not pay the extra charge until the issue is solved. So I have paid the remaining amount leaving the dispute amount. But in the new bill I have penalised with late fee. This indicates that they don't care their executives also.


So I recommend don't go for vodafone postpaid.
