This is a request to all existing Vodafone customers in India:

1) Please boycott their services

2) Disconnect your existing Vodafone numbers

3) Don't pay your bills if you have any outstandings

4) And if, like me, you have an inconceivable and unexplained MINUS Rs 149 balance on your PREPAID ACCOUNT, for which no creature in the Vodafone customer care biosystem can give any legible reason, then you too must encourage others to boycott Vodafone in India.

There are a billion of us. It makes no financial sense to continue to provide us with honest and reliable service. For these global thieves posing as our service providers, even if half of us so much as SIGN on to their services(and pay all those weird hefty deposits, etc.), the company has made more profit than it can begin to imagine.

An employee at a Vodafone outlet, probably taking pity on me during one of my many many visits to fix the above problem, confessed off the record that Vodafone's corporate policy is to maximize sales, service be damned.

Visit a Nokia service center, or just walk into the branch of any mobile service provider, and you will notice the atmosphere in these places borders on a war zone, with the employees having to practically shield themselves from enraged and frustrated customers who cannot BELIEVE that it will take 2 MONTHS to repair a BRAND NEW handset that has no business conking off in the first place.

If the option is to live without these so-called conveniences of modern life, I think we in India might just have to bite the bullet and pull the plugs in our lives.
