I had opted for Vodafone 3g dongle in 16th Feb 2013 by calling Vodafone customer care.in 1 hour they sent to collect money and documents from me.I got the dongle and a sim card.sales person told me that this would be activated post verification in 2-3 days. I waited for days and then chasing sales guy and customer care I could get no update.
After 1 week sales guy gave me a contact no. of Vodafone Delhi employee -named Manojkumar Jangir. I called him and he asked me to resend my documents which I immediately did.then after 2 days I started following up with him but he never replied calls/mails/sms. Then again I chased the sales guy who redirected me to other person, which was of no use.Ultimately being fed up with this nonsense and lies.
I went to Sec 50 store in noida in 2nd march.There I was by the agent that the sim for the dongle is not activated by due to technical reason and I was told I did not submit documents again.I was assured I would be called up in 1-2 days and my service activated.Again I got no call and even calling 111 was no help.
Then I started emailing Vodafone care Delhi, attaching my documents again..again a lot of followup mails went but issue remained same. I mailed Vodafone nodal cell then on 14th March. I got a call from the team in few days of time to note my issue. But even after repeated calls to Nodal cell no and mails, even Vodafone nodal cell has not provided resolution of this. Every week I am told that this is being looked into ...But I am yet to get my connection running nor do I have the refund of Rs. 1900.
So I can surely say Vodafone nodal cell is a BIG FLUKE like its whole bunch of cheat sales persons and inefficient and useless customer care. I am not sure how do I take this forward. Thus I would like my fellow citizens to be aware of this fraud and shameless service or lack of it which Vodafone provides.
