The animal I’m talking about is Vivek Oberai (VO). I decided to write on him after watching his Desi-Cowboy act in ‘Deewane Hue Pagal (DHP)’. In DHP, he dressed (rather WORSTly dressed) up like a cowboy; delivering non-hilarious narrations in THE most pathetic way. The kind of over-acting he can do … I bet; nobody else can do that in India. And about acting (besides his ‘solo’ enacted blockbuster - Saathiya), he is ‘only’ comparable to Mr. Tushar Kapoor (one who did the main role in ‘Gayab’ and now is nowhere to be seen). Also, Vivek has an in-built talent to appreciate the worst performances (see any serial in which he is made the judge).
The worst part is his perchant for cheap publicity…playing around handicapped children and even worst taking them to a movie like Pyare Mohan (GOD! plz help those already denied), adopting villages (just for name). I guess he wants to be become BONO of India.
Lastly, I hope he gives up acting as India is a country of 103 billions, and even if 1 % watch his movies, in return getting headaches…calculate the crores of rupees wasted in countering all those headaches.
Some may even die!!!
So, Vivek plz plz STOP urself (atleast for progress of India)
