MUST WATCH FOR THE LADIES AND FAMILY AUDIENCE. Review on Vivaah

Vivah is a journey of a girl and a boy write from their engagement to their marriage.Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao get engaged. It is the story of all the talks between their engagement and their marriage not just the relationship between two of them but also between their family.First half is very slow moving but in second half when an emotional twist come that is the best part of the film and after this even if you are strong hearted then also you will not stop crying and if you are weak-heartened then for the last 35-40 minutes you will keep on crying continuously.In this film emotional content and indian content is very strong and that's why this will specially appeal to the ladies and family audience.Film might not be liked very much by the youngesters.This has several reasons.First,the romance in this film is of old type.The language that is used is very dated.The pace of the film is slow and the music given by Ravindra Jain is very slow and the lyrics looks like they are talking to one other,it's not like a song.That's why this film might appeal less to the youngesters but ladies and family audience will go bonker on this film.

PERFORMANCE

Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao has done good job.Amrita Rao has done her role very cleaverly but we miss Salman Khan and perhaps Madhuri Dikshit also.

Alok Nath's performance is absoulutely brilliant.Anupam Kher is another actor who has got deep understanding.Seema Bishwas role is unique.We usually do not expect Seema Bishwas in Sooraj Brajatya's film but her role is a very good.

DIRECTION

Sooraj Brajatya's direction is absouletely fantastic.He has took many surprising steps.First,he has took the subject of 19th century or perhaps early 20th century but he has come out to be a winner.Secondly,the pace of the film is slow.He has created the film on his own visualities but because film has strong indian sentiments and strong emotions this film will appeal and ultimately turn out to be hit.

MUSIC

Ravindra Jain's music is good but not the type which youthful audience will like.In fact, youngster will find the music very poor but the older generation might just get used to this kind of songs.

Overall, Vivah has got off to an average start -somewhere good and somwhere poor but in forthcoming days the collections will definately pick up.In India this film has all the chances of turning out to be hit and film's collection will gradually rise up.Out of the three films released this week, this film is the best choice to watch.
