Cmon Guys !! Does Vivaah deserve a big mouth ? Well I am not saying that its a disaster , but its not a blockbuster either .

The movie is all about traditional values and family bondage .And of course comes packed wih pure and divine romance . An outdated concept ( in movies I mean ) and repetitive story line .The romantic scenes in the movie have the potential to melt the hearts to some extent .

Lets start right from the begining . Prem (Alok Nath) is a good hearted person who is very much obsessed with his neice Poonam (Amrita Rao ) and he considers her as his priceless gift . Poonam has no one else in this world other than his chachaji and his family. She is emotionally very close to them . Prem (shahid kapoor ) is the son of an industrialist , Harishchandra (Anupam Kher ) . The story begins when Prem and Poonam gets engaged .Love blossoms after their engagement and she becomes his support and inspiration to reach the heights of success . The story ends with their marriage but it was not the way everyone expected it to be .

The onscreeen chemistry of Shahid and Amrita was lovely . And both of them has done a decent job . Infact all the artists in the movie have done pretty well though there was not much story involved in the movie .

If u believe in divine love then you will definetly enjoy the love sequences . The romantic scenes are shot very delicately and sensibly . The onscreen pairing of Shahid and Amritha is the highlight of the movie .

But the movie is dragging and proceeds at snail's pace and at times it turns out to be pretty boring ,

Especially for the youngsters . Watching this movie one will definetly recall HUM AAPKE HAIN KAUN as both the movies are very much alike . The Wedding planners , The Wedding house , Some Laughs , Some Tears and Some Romance . So I think that the movie will fail to create a fuss among youngsters .Moreover we have seen such movies a million times . Right from the 70's Bollywood is producing such movies at regular intervals .

As for the music there is nothin special to talk about but all songs matches precisely to the situations .

So is Vivaah worth a watch ? hmmm........depends on ur taste ....If u were looking for a pure family movie based on Indian culture and traditional values... then Go for it . I hope you like it .

But if u are looking for a pakka entertaining movie then avoid it . This one is not for you .

Personally I found the movie quite boring expect for a few romantic scenes . But a movie which is completely entertaining for a person can be the most boring for another one . So never rely completely on anyone's review .
