Had been on an Outing with a friends family at Trimbakeshwar for a pooja to be performed by him. After a hectic day of the stuff, We decided to part off with doing darshan at temple and before that take a quick lunch in the hotel. We entered the hotel seeing it as a brand.
Unfortunately we ended up being served with only left overs in the hotel. Anything that was ordered from the Menu was like either not available or time lagega types. Seems he was not interested to serve us. Finally we told him to serve what he had and were served with Cold Masala Dosas with stale potato sabzi in it and plae looking dosa. When confronted, his attitude was like aise hi milega and if you dont want return back or dont pay.
The owner was not summoned when demanded and when payment was done it was a rude sorry that came from the cashier. Thats it.
Vitthal Kamat being a brand through out India if you are not auditing or maintaing your franchisees then I m sorry to say you are not good enough as a hotelier brand.
P.S. Never seen a Udipi hotel which runs out of Idli Sambhar from their stock.
