I visited the vision express branch located in Hanumanthanagara, somewhere during the month of may-2015. I wanted to place an order for powered Amber sports glasses, that could also serve as night vision. I asked specifically for the amount of bend that the frame could support the glasses. I was promised by the shopkeeper about it and I selected a half frame product of vision express itself. I was told that I would get delivery within a week. Surprisingly they took 2 weeks.
And when I arrived back to collect the glasses, while trying it out, the lens that was designed with power popped out of the frame. And the shopkeeper struggled to place it back. He then promised to get it fixed. But the design that it was, I was skeptical about its sturdy nature, after having experienced it live. I chose a different frame which was full framed and I placed an order again. Paying the extra amount of 800 over the already paid 5500. The billed amount now being 6300. After having promised for a week time for delivery I was delivered with the product after 15-20 days. After thanking them for their effort.
I started using the glasses. Within 2 weeks the side of the frame that supported powered lens broke for no reason of mine. The lens basically was a little protruded from the frame. But when asked the shopkeeper told it's all good, and nothing to worry. Now after having dropped for with the glasses the shop again took over a month's time to replace it with a new frame of the same type that I had selected previously. Now again after a month's usage the same side of the frame is broken. Very disappointed for having spent so much time and money over a product which hasn't served the purpose. Will be going to them again to have it replaced and change the frame. And also log a consumer complaint demanding a relevant compensation for the time and amount spent for the cheap product. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
