Virtusa was once a great company but the moment it decided to buy Polaris its strategy changed on a large scale. Now after an year passed of buying Polaris the situation got worsen. My two best known person in Hyderabad got terminated from virtusa only because of they didn't had projects and the rest of projects they want to continue with 80% freshers.
The variable component is very high in comparison of CTC it is unbelievable but 20% of CTC even for freshers.
Annual hike is minimal as of 2% of CTC, many guys got below this figure.
Job security is no where, any one can put on bench and then can be terminated easily.
Because of above 3 reasons the iteration level is very high in virtusa Polaris and on the same speed they are hiring freshers.
Based on personal experience and real scenarios, I suggest don't join virtusa, you can join only when you are out of job and you desperately need any employer.
In such conditions how would be the work environment any one can guess, these are the situations exactly opposite of career and personal growth. I had shared my personal views on Virtusa - Polaris. Please dig out deeper from all other possible sources before joining this company. It can save you from a big trouble.
