My wife purchased a Whirlpool Fridge on 29th May 10.(Full payment made). There was a Gift of Reebok Shades and watch along with this. The store staff assured the delivery of the delivery of the giftwithin15 days. However with no response from them for many days, I visited the store on 26th June 10. I was told that the Gift was not ready and they were waiting for stocks - I should come after a couple of days. I went to the store again on 29th June 10. I was told by one lady that she tried to call me on 27th June on my mobile and land line. Since I did not receive the call - I would now have to wait.(I have caller id on my mobile and landline - I received no such call) I tried to call their customer care centre - NO RESPONSE - No one even picks up the phone 022 66227722. I sent an e mail to their customer care mail id. I also called their corporate office and was assured by some person there that I would get delivery of my gift. Finally I did get the delivery of the gift today(1 month and 1 day later)
MORAL OF THE STORY - it you have to receive any gift as part of your purchase from Vijay Sales - please be ready to devote about a day on telephone calls - e mails etc before you receive what was promised.
