Videocon is a well-known brand Manufacturing consumer electronics but in the mobile segment I do not feel that they have done a good job as most of the phones that I have come across made from videocon are not at all satisfactory and the phones have one issue or the another. this phone Ultra 50 from videocon is a mid range phone price around 10000 rupees offering 1.3 gigahertz Quad Core processor along with 3 GB of RAM and a 720 p HD screen and 3000 MH. Although the specs of the phone look impressive but the device is not so.
The phone does have sound ready section issues as the microphone had a malfunction and the other person on the opposite end of the phone was not able to hear my voice properly.
The phone is based on android and bus easy to use and operator although the user interface provided by Videocon hangs up the phone quite a few time.
The design of the phone is compact but a little heavy and bulky so I feel that they could have made the phone slimmer and then it would have been better.
The range of features of this phone are the same as found in other android-powered phones and I did not find much new features in this phone.
Reliability wise I will not say that the phone is the most reliable one in the market as it has connection issues as well as too much heating issue as well as hanging issue which takes away the pleasure of using this cell phone.
Value for money wise I will recommend the user to find another phone in this price range as this phone does not have a full HD screen and there are numerous cell phones in the market in this price range which provide a full HD screen as well as a bigger battery.
