So bad !!!!. Review on Videocon SA 65

This review is more of a narration of an incidence and also includes my experience with the Videocon as a company and the service provided by them. It’s the employees who make the company good or bad. And my experience with Videocon had made me loose all trust and also made me aware of the dishonest intentions of the service people of the company. Here it goes..

1)     Washing machine purchased in Feb 2007 and is under 2 year warranty

2)     Our washing machine (model number Multi 6800) started giving the following 2 troubles

a.      Water was draining out in the non-drain mode (problem has occurred 3rd time).

b.      The dryer bucket was not working

3)     A complaint was launched on the complaint phone no. 39404040 on the 27th Oct. The complaint number given to us was 5A0470810270030.

4)     Mr. Sunil (9717800788) visited my house on the 31st of October and corrected the issue number 1, claiming it was due to deposit of dust. Previous 2 times also, when the same problem had come, it was solved stating the same. This clearly shows the poor quality of the product. For the 2nd issue, Sunil diagnosed the issue with the faulty timer.

5)     The following points give the details of how Sunil tried to CHEAT us.

c.      Firstly Sunil claimed that the warranty is of 1 year and the service will be paid. After showing him the papers and explaining it word to word, which clearly shows 2 year warranty; he agreed to start the work.

d.      Sunil rectified the issue 1 and said issue 2 will be solved later without giving any timeline commitment. After putting pressure on him, he agreed to visit the next day.

e.      Next day, Sunil came and asked for the copy of the bill. My mother who was alone at that point in time went inside the room to fetch the bill. When she returned, Sunil said that the new timer has been installed.

f.       Since my mother was away for just few mins, she sensed that Sunil is trying to befool.

g.      She asked Sunil to show her the old timer which has been taken out from the machine. He refused. On insisting, he took out the timer from the pocket which was brand new. Smelling fishy, my mother asked him to open the machine and show her the timer newly installed. Machine as expected had the old timer. This is a clear case of cheating and theft.

h.      Sunil then tried to cover up that the old timer itself is working fine and the new one is not required. We asked him to give the same in writing on which he agreed to install the new timer.

6)     The above narration clearly shows that Sunil is dishonest and a cheat, and has intentions of making money illegally.

7)     It is dangerous to have people with such intentions visiting our homes when the ladies are alone.

8)     As a customer, I have lost all the confidence in the company since the company which employs such people can not be trusted anyway.

9)    Besides this, I am particularly disappointed by the quality of the machine, since in last 1.5 years, this is the 3rd time that machine has given us same trouble and timer has also stopped working.

Bottom line is that the product is of poor quality and the people who are working on this product are even worse. I am sure the message is clear.
