Effective. Review on Vicks Vaporub

I don't use any medicine on a regular basis, and I adopt the same policy for Vicks Vaporub. I only use it on those occasions when my cold is intense to the point that I find it difficult to breather at night before going to sleep. And I have found to be more effective than most other treatments like steaming, olysin, cold tablets/capsules and the like. It provides immediate relief and nobody can understand this better than people who know that traumatizing choking sensation your nose and chest is totally blocked. It is truly a life saver.

On the downside, the vaporub makes me feel very drowsy and sometimes shows this after effect even on the morning after. I feel very upset when my energy is diminished, and I cannot focus on any of the tasks I have to do. That is why, when used only if necessary, this treatment works the best. The key is limited use.
