Vicks vaporub has been around for years. Most people keep one of these in their medicine cabinet because it really does work. It works for entire family , for adults and children over two years old.
Its is available in regular , a menthol scent and also in lemon.
Personally I prefer the menthol scent. It comes in a blue coloured tub with a screw top lid.
The ointment itself is very thick and once applied it has cooling effect at first. It works with medicated vapours that relive symptoms of the common cold and respiratory conditions.
It is applied to the chest , throat and back. Great for applying before bedtime to help easier breathing overnight.
For head congestion best use put some in hot water for nice head steam bath under a towel.
