Via.Com is a not a scam they are faulty . There website has serious fluctuations in pricing and booking. Whoever uses it use it on your own risk. No one hates money same as me as it is hard earned
On 29/7/2016 I booked a ticket from my home computer on google chrome thru via.com paid from my sister's ICICI card for Rs.3103/-
Flight Info: BOM to DEL 3.40 PM to 5.45 PM 4/7/2016 I saw the ticket at 2830 so booked it immediately filling in the details . the final amount was 3103 which I thought to be a convenience fee. Neglected it.
The next day I get an email from Spice jet regards to the booking. I never received any confirmation from VIa.com . I forwarded the email from spice to my friend and he was shocked to see I got a ticket at 3.40 PM on Spice jet from Delhi to Bombay . I was shocked and called the help line Some south Indian woman was talking to me from bengaluru and before conveying anything it got disconnected and waited for 15 minutes and tried for 2 days to get them on phone finally on 2/7/16 2:00 PM and another lady says it was ur fault u did not report us on the same day .
Claimed cancellation fees: 2000 approx and returned 991.00
They asked me do you have a proof to support that I PKD did not make a booking error.
I was speechless.
U should record your screen while booking or else no one will help . This morning I did some more research on their website and see in the pics pre booking details and post details yourself .
Charge more but make sure u do care to help your customers
