It Got Better. Review on Ventura1

This is the First time writing a review, I have invested in stocks and mutual funds.In the month of Feb I was searching for a good Stock Broker where I can start with trading in NSE and BSE

I was interested in ICICI and SBI and Standard Charted.As per the Service Level is concerned, I found Ventura Securities Ltd is quite good.

My Sister took Standard Charted Demat account and she was asked to pay 500 in Cheque in the month of March.I applied to Ventura Securities Ltd on 20th April, 2009.

I was given option to pay cheque of 2500 or 5000 to Ventura Securities Ltd . ( I Paid 5000 ) and Later I need to make an account with ICICI or HDFC. On 22nd April 2009, I received a call for the Resource kit and was undelivered on 23rd of April 2009.

Here is the Recieved email in quotes"

Dear Sir, Client code 95 – RAVI N S – 19 from our HEADOFFICE welcome kit couriered on 24-04-2009 to the below address mentionedby you and got undelivered and the same kit from our HO they will be againsending to our Branch by tomorrow once we receives the same we will callyou and then we will courier it from our end."

The Executive took initiative by giving a call , and had informed me if any thing has such, they will take care . The Resource kit was not delivered to me by the Post.Ventura Securities Ltd . took initiative to send another Resource kit from there Head Office and was delivered within 2 days . My sister recieved a mail from Standard Chartered stating about the Bank Account activation on the next day. whereas I got an Executive to my home, giving a Demo about the Application and its Usage.

Guys.. if you have a good or bad Experience about Ventura Securities Ltd. Please leave your Comments.. The Bad thing about the this company is the website..FAQ about the Process and how to initiate is missing. I get to know from the agents working fron Ventura Securities Ltd. After 7 months of Experience.. I felt Good and better than other brand.They provide more Information when compare to other resources.The Application used is Pointer which has Accuracy when intraday trading.

Some things which I have noticed few weeks.. the brokerage charges for some script comes upto 0.75% where as for some its 0.03%. Its kind of unpredictable when you do less trading. They still maintain good relationship when any request is made. I appreciate Relationship Officer Madhusudhan T N and USHA for all the Co-operation in regards to any help related to trading. This made me to stay with Ventura and expecting the same in the future.

Some not so good things about Ventura1.com is the trading tips provided, Its never been Accurate. 40% of them are good stock. 60% of them are really bad. So I would suggest to any one to take their own decision when trading or you might end up with stop-loss.

The Transaction database made is little bit clumsy. For a layman like me will not be able to understand all the reports, However they clear show how much I have invested in the stock and brokerage price and other STT and tax.

Hope this review helps others to buy Demat and get a grip about their life. I have completed one year now( April 2010 ) with ventura :) . I got my 5000/- which was for internet access charge.Made lot of loss in Stock Market and gain at the same. Felt like I completed 1st STD with JUST PASS marks ( lol )Some Brokerage firms charge 15/- for call and trade. Ventura gives me free so .. no charges when called to ventura and trade.. Good for me :).In the year end. I came to know that ventura provides chat support . This helps me a lot instead of calling.

Good: SMS Service. Morning Updates, If any option or future purchased. Intraday brokerage charge is only onside : 35/- Call and trade with no charges in my plan. After a year 5000/- is given back as per brokerage used.* Chat support

BAD:---- NO web based trading . They think that website based gives slow data.---- Bad Trading Tips. Most of them are SL triggered.Intraday Exposure is 4 times for NSE and 2 for BSE and 1 time for T and Z stocks. Other brokers provide 8-10 times in NSE.
