The new Veet wax strips that is availabel in market now is a very nice product to use it by yourself. But what you need to be aware is how to use it. Though the instructions on the carton says that you need to rub the strips between your palms before using it, it is better you makes sure it is lightly heated. Rubbing between palms will not generate enough heat to peel the strips & rubbing hard will damage the strips.

The idea behind heating lightly is to allow the was inside the strips to melt a bit so you can stick to your skin.

So how do you do that?

You can use one of the options below.

  1. Take a steel container with hot water in it with lid closed. Make sure the container is big enough the size of the strips. Now rub the strip on that container. After a few seconds just peel the strips & apply onto your skin.

  2. Use a hair dryer to blow the strips, the hot hair generate will work effectively.

  3. Use a iron box. Just heat the iron box, rub a thick cloth on to it & then rub the was strips to the heated cloth.

After applying the strips on to skin, make sure you wait for atleast 10 mins & then pull it in the direction the hair grows.

If used properly, this product is best compared to any beauty parlours or any other products.

You get Veet was strips for both sensitive & normal skin.
