The film mainly focusses on the last few years of Veerappan and how he was killed and from the Police Officer's angle.
There is not much about Veerappan and all those rumors ( true or otherwise but mentioned in the media) about him.
But the film has a good narration and does not lose pace. It keeps the viewer engaged. Some direction glitches could have been avoided. For instance the presence of 'Lisa Ray' during interrogation of aides of Veerappan. Cellphone was rare in late 90's and till early 2000s but cell phone is shown being used commonly.
Overall a 'time pass' movie. Hope the director cud have used more lights in the movie but it seems the director and his aides are engaged in 'Bijli Bachao' movement.
