Death Of a Warrior and boredom of a Viewer

I was really excited to watch this Flick for a few reasons:

A) It's a Salman Kahn Movie who was superb in his last action Movie - Wanted

B) The director was Anil Sharma( I thought he must have learnt from his mistakes of Hero - Love story of a spy(Which doomed Sunny Deol's bright career).

C) It was a period film and it was our chance to crate a Gladiator or Troy.

But I was more than disspapointed with the result, I went to watch it with a Few of my friends( and we have watched some really horrible movies together and did not complain and waited till the end) but this time it was only me who had to face it till the end my other freinds decided to leave the cinema hall.

The movie starts on a good note with a sparta kind of eeeling and setting the plot in Rhythm but then suddenly Salman grows up and falls in love with the Zarine khan and from there the movie is going no where, I feel that the love story has been given too much importance without any need of it being there, it could have been a love story in a backdrop of a Period War film but instead it was a Period War film waived around emotions.

A veiwer expects a lot of action and adrenaline rush while watching something like this and what they get is simple boredom and The Dishu - Dhishum broing fight sequences.

The Scale is Large and my full comliments to the Team on that, but what do u want to use it for? Just showing a large ground fill with horses does not make viewer go GaGa over your film you need to understand the tough benchmark's set by Gladitor, Troy etc in these kind of films.

One point is well proved that not everybody can handle Period Films, in this case the costumes and the sets also were not given the final detailing either, like in a dance number salman khanis wearing some leather kind of Jeans in a boot cut fashion which came into existence in 2000-2001, but this sequcne is suppose to be but around 1980.

Veer is a big dissappointment!

And its a golden chance gone terribly wrong.
