Had a chance to see Veer Zara, had this general word of mouth review from people around me that this movie is boring , slow etc etc......

So finally I hit the theatre to check it out myself..... Due to the prior review I got , I expected to get bored , trained my brains for some patience.... But MAN I should tell you, this movie from the start enthrilled me, it's not a bad movie at all in other words this is a Fabulous Movie , i'll tell you why.

From the very start, the direction of scenic beauty by Mr Yash Chopr kept my eyes starred at the screen and compliment the beauty of the locations.

An out to out love story this movie definetly has a new script line of bounless love and sacrifice, a very touchy story, about how sharukh khan(veer) and preity zinta(zara) meeting after a gap of 22 years keeping their love alive.

The first half about SharukhKhan (Veer) narrating his love story is interesting and touchy, you may get a bit bored due to the long duration of songs and slow love story style, but it's worth the wait becauz the second half compensates for the entire movie.

I loved Amitabh in the first half and his best dialogue ''Oye padosi desh, Cheers'', it was cool, the other things I loved about the first half is the picturisation of songs especially ''Desh hai mera'', it's fantastic a showman's experience is reflected on the screen, lush greenery, colorful people, lovely rivers, fairs, it's really a treat to the eyes.

The second half keeps you glued to the screen when Rani Mukheerji defend Veer's case in the court, this part is very interesting and performance by every actor is worth watching.

Loved Sharukkhan's old age avtaar, the way he presents himself and way he emotes to situations is worth watching again and again, infact Yash Chopra has the power to make the audience(especially women) down to tears by using his actor's emotions in a very powerful way.

The story is all about Veer sacrificing his life so that his love could live a clean and good life and Zara sacrificing her life to keep the ambitions of her love alive. I'm not too good on writing reviews on love stories, probably this is the first love story I really liked, and when I like some thing I do mention it on Mouth Shut when ever I get a chance.

My final conclusion is that in this fast paced life, love stories like these should be more and more made so that people do think about true love and sacrifice rather than what is going around now a days.

This pure love story with no obscenity will go a long way to inculcate values in our mind, and after movies with the ever increasing nudity this one is a welcome change , a very clean movie with a great message.

This movie also tries to get the Indo-Pak relation go strong, but I dont wanna comment on that, it's too soon now to think on these terms.

So go for this movie, probably with your family and you'll not be disappointed i'm sure.
