The Cast and Crew of VZ. Review on Veer-Zara

Caution : My review does not contain the story of Veer-Zaara.....

Finally me and my friends got tickets for VZ after trying for a really long time but for the show of 10 a.m. so I had to bunk my college for the second time. My dad was not in favour of me bunking but my mum couldn't see my ''uthra hua chehra'' and she allowed me to go.

So many reviews have come up on VZ and I dont think I can explain the story any better than all of them.Then what exactly is my review on?.It's about everything put together to make a movie..

SHAHRUKH KHAN :

Acting : SRK is the cream of VZ.His acting was simply ''WOW''.The dialogues were very simple and sweet but SRK 's brilliant acting added a certain 'Zing' or 'spice' to them.

Veer's disappointment,happiness,agony,excitement and every other emotion was beautifully acted by SRK.This performance of his will forever be remembered and cherished by me & all his fans.He's got something in him which makes him stand out always from the rest of the actors.SRK's acting as an old man is brilliant.

Looks: If looks could kill I'd be dead.SRK looked very cute in VZ.His mere presence dazzled up the whole screen.If you ask me I dont think he needs any dialogues to capture the audience his eyes are more than enough to that work.He looked really very good especially in that Air force outfit.But I think his golden brown streaks made him look a bit old.Otherwise his hairstyle was perfect.

Stylecheck: All Srk sports throughout this movie are shaded jeans as young Veer.He also dons a jacket which totally looks coool.Also the cowboy boots are worth the check.So thats the simple,casual and comfortable look which will rule this season.

PRIETY ZINTA:

Acting : If SRK is the cream then Priety is the cherry on top of it.Her expressions were totally fabulous.Especially in that scene where SRK saves her from the accident ,the pain and the terror could literally be seen in her eyes.Shes come a really long way from Dil Se to VZ.Its amazing to see her acting talent bloom out.She has made her own special place in the hearts of many people by her terrific acting in this movie.

Looks : She looked fresh like the Dew-drops.She looked so creamy and so velvety.Priety did flash her beautiful dimples at the right places.Those pretty,innocent & naughty looks of her are more than enough to mesmerize the audience.Me thinks the DCH hairstyle suits her the best.

Stylecheck: It was definitely great to see the salwars back in vogue instead of those skimpy clothes.Priety wears only Salwars throughout the movie and that too in the combinations of White.Priety did look lovely in those equally lovely Pathani salwars.And yeah a few bangles , payal and cute earrings are back with a bang thanks to VZ.

RANI MUKHERJI:

Acting : Rani's acting was too good. I've got no word actually.Even though her role was not as important as that of Zaara's she did stand out.Shes always been excellent and she will always be excellent too. I especially adored her husky voice and her piercing looks at Anupam.She definitely has an edge over all.Inspite of her not portraying the lead role she does mesmerize the audience.

Looks : She looked like a typical Pakistani girl.With a dupatta over her head and with her khule khule baal she looked really beautiful.She oozed so much of confidence.I think that confidence level made her look more stunningly pretty.

Stylecheck: Rani wears these short chudidhars only in the movie.And the thing which makes her look really beautiful is the nose-stud.That makes her look more Pakistanish.

DIRECTOR , PRODUCER:

Its great to watch a movie directed by Yash Chopra after such a long time.VZ is really a very beautiful movie.Well frankly speaking I found it a bit slow.But that does'nt stop me from saying that I truly LOVED this movie.Ofcourse a few people might not like it too.Yash Chopra did extract every bit of the talent and acting from the actors.I dont think he compromised in any scene.I felt every scene perfect.Aditya Chopra was the Producer.Must say the whole look of the movie is totally spiffing .

Looks like the Producer didnt step back on anything at all related to the costs...I've got only one thing against the Director or the editor whoever it was.They didnt include the song Yeh hum aa gaye hai kahan.Its such a beautiful song..

STORY ,SCREENPLAY , DIALOGUES :

Aditya Chopra needs a special pat on his back for the dialogues.Each and every dialogue was sweet.The main highlight of the movie must definitely be the wonderful dialogues which were equally so so simple.They were so very simple yet there was some elegance to them.And gosh to come up with such a romantic story he needs another pat.

MUSIC , LYRICS :

Music was by Late Madan Mohan.No wonder they are so good to hear.The songs are so very beautiful that they can be heard at any time.The music was recreated by Sanjeev Kohli and indeed he did a great job.The music should be able to capture the mood of the people listening to it and transport them to the land of their thoughts.VZ's music was one of the few Gems which can actually make that possible.Javed Akhtar's lyrics added more beauty to the song.The songs TERE LIYE ,DO PAL , YEH HUM AA GAYE HAI KAHAN are worth checking out.

COSTUME DESIGNERS ,CHOREOGRAPHERS :

Karan Johar designed the outfits of SRK and he definitely deserves a round of applause for those simple and comfy outfits which made SRK look more nice.And designer Manish Malhotra's creations were simple fabulous.Hema Malini's outfit in the Lodi song is fabulous.

Priety's and Rani's outfits were as it is lovely.Manish deseves a greter round of applause for making the GURLS look so pretty.The guys literally swooned on them for they were looking so stunning.Well its not easy to choreograph the love songs either and Saroj Khan ,Vaibhavi Merchant did a good job on that.

PUBLICITY PHOTOGRAPHS :

The ads and the posters were so breathtaking.I would gaze so longingly at them wondering when I'll get a chance to watch the movie.They definitely attracted the attention of the people.And so the whole credit goes to Ishika Mohan for arousing the interest and tempting people like me to watch the movie.

I definitely loved this movie.I thought it was rather unfair that the reviews were written only on the story of the movie.All these people definitely are a part of the movie and so I decided to include them in my review instead of the story.
