When I first heard this music couldn't believe its a yash chopra movie film.
If you forget that its yash chopra film, the songs sound like they are from a B grade film with big singers thrown in. Madan mohan rightly decided not to use these tunes.. because most of them were plain mediocre
First song Tere liye starts off very well with a melodious tune... but then the singers ruin the song.. and as the song progresses you feel like... stop that boaring song. It goes on & on.
Main yahan hoon.. its a plain, simple and mediocre song like u get to hear from every other film.
Aisa Des Mera.. its a patriotic song.. sounds ordinary with some punjabi lyrics in it, which will not be understood by all.
Yeh Hum Aa Gaye ... ordinary song. nothing to talk about..it just starts and ends. Do pal ... Good lyrics and a slow song. This one is likeable.
Kyon Hawa.... Yash chopra ko koi chup karao yaar.
Hum To Bhai .... yuck. where's the forward button.
Tere deewane... you wont hate this old style qawwali.. but theres nothing to rave about either
Rest all are ignorable.
Some people might like this album just because of big names like yash chopra, madan mohan, late mangeshkar etc etc but frankly this album is plain mediocre and dissapoints big time.
