Overall, it SUCKS!. Review on Vectorfast Infotech Cable Internet

It all started with Vectorfasts ad in the newspaper. It was appealing and we immediately made the initial 5000/- Payment. Our line was made in about a week but the connection took about a month to start! I still remember the day it started at around 5 PM. I was sooooo happy. I was getting speeds of 30 KB/s average. Thats like 3 times more than Hathway's 8 KB/s Maximum. I remember on the world cup final day I was getting speeds of 90 KB/s. Amazing. But about 2 days after this started, the internet went down. It came back up for about 15 mins, then went down for like the whole day. This happened daily. The customer support said the same old bullshit like gateway problem, packet loss, etc, etc. Their technicians, especially Ilhas and Machit were really friendly tho. Hats off to them. Its not their fault if they are working in a really shitty company. For 2 months my connection was down. It came back up and then worked for about 2 days with awesome speeds. Again went down the next day for more than 20 hours. Sheesh worked like 4 hrs everyday and then went down. And used to go down in between for about a minute and then start back up. As of now, (29th August) its been down for 2 months. They had promised me a connection on 15th August, but how can u believe these people. I hope they start again tho coz they were the fastest and if they will work for 24hrs a day, 7 days a week they will be the BEST IN THE BUSINESS coz I was getting awesome speeds. Imagine a 1MB file downloaded in 10 secs as compared to >5mins on a VSNL connection. Even on hathway it takes around 2-3 minutes. I hope they get back on. Cant wait if they do. Oh, it was 750/- per month but we never paid our monthly bill coz it worked properly like 2 days of the month so all the time I used their internet it was like free. Trust me, I downloaded a LOT on that connection for free hehe. Serves them right tho. Better get started again.
