Disclaimer :I am a North Indian, Although I don’t understand Telugu fully but do understand a lil bit as I have been in Andhra for about 2+ years now, yet I watched this movie and this is what I feel about it. I am sure I got the story very well.

Venkatesh was one of the reasons which made me see this one as I have seen some of his Hindi movies and liked them very much, one of them happens to be ''Anari'' with Karishma Kapoor, wherein he acted damn well, I dunno if he got any awards for that or not. But this movie deserves an awards, at least Venkatesh shud have got one for his performance.
In this movie also he plays a very simple, down to earth character Ashok, He has a childhood friend Julie (Played by Kalyani), they are like very close friends, one takes the responsibility of others faults, they help each other at all walks of life, they grow up together but they have other bondings apart from friendship. Julie looks awesome; she is so simple yet so appealing.
Venkatesh does nothing else than Playing Cricket and Pranks with is friends full time, he is very close to Julie's father as well. His family is behind him all the time to do something in his life but he never does anything, When Julie's father dies suddenly he brings her to his home as she has got nowhere to go and faces a lot of issues from his family, but still they keep him and she wins all the hearts in no time and becomes a very important part of their family as well.
At a later stage he falls in love with Nandini (Arti Agarwal) who is from quite an ok family and they get married. Sequence of how she finds him and the music involved is something to be watched. Than starts a lil bit of problem in their life as his wife is unable to understand the gravity of their friendship. But gradually she understands and accepts it (This is amazing - yet very convincing in the movie).
Finally there comes a moment in Venkatesh's life where his career is at stake, although he had no career up till now but he plays very well in Ranji Trophy Cricket Match and gets selected in the National Team, this is his golden chance, but there comes a turn where he has to choose between the happiness of his Friend Julie and his career. What he does and how he does is something you've got to watch the movie for.
Hilarious Moments:Unexpected but yeah there are so many pranks they have played. I don’t know the name of that guy, who was close friend of Venkatesh, but his chemistry with Comedy is awesome, looks like he is the Johny lever of south, he makes very funny phase and some Kool squeaking voices too.
All the other actors too justified their roles very well. The best part was Venkatesh's simplicity and his friend Julie's Expression, their friendship and Sacrifices for each other. Venkatesh Wife's Understanding, their living at same home and all is something you can't remain untouched of. There are so many emotional moments throughout the movie. I felt one thing while watching this movie that language is not at all a barrier if one really wants to understand the emotions. It was so simple and wonderful movie that I can’t forget.
VVS Laxman has a guest appearance in the movie as he comes for Venkatesh's training, just two lines and one shot, with his own voice. Looks funny to me as what difference does it makes in the movie to have him or not?
Music :Awesome music, unable to understand the meaning of the lines but music is good, none of the songs will make you push the forward button as the music is good and the locations are Kool too. The background score which runs throughout the movie is too good, you simply cannot forget that tune even after the movie is over. Songs I feel must be Superhit in the Region.
I don’t know whether I did justice with the movie in reviewing it here or not, may any of my Andhra Friend who has seen this movie can tell us about that?
