Well, I visited Vasan Eye Care Hospital which is in Marathahalli, Bangalore. I went there for general eye sight check up, the staff was polite and there hospital was good, this is the only positive thing about them, first they asked me to register paying around 300, after the registration they asked me to wait for a while till doctor calls for check up.
After a while they called me, a lady [or a girl as she was v young] started testing my eyes with some equipment saying its eye pressure test, blowing some air into the eyes, and asked me to not to close eyes during the process, but it was difficult to keep eyes open with that pressure coming into my eyes, after a while the lady asked me to go upstairs where a doctor would check my eyes. I went there and waited for 30 to 45 min, then a Dr called me inside and started checking my eye sight and concluded that I can continue with my old specs, as my sight is OK, I thought now I can go, but he asked me to wait outside saying another Dr will check my eyes, I was like, what crap, when everything is OK why would I need to go to another Dr.
I waited outside, and after a while another lady Dr called me inside and examined my eyes, the test was irritating, with some bright light focusing into eyes and I have to stare at that, after the test she said, my eye pressure is high based on the test which was done by that lady downstairs, my husband asked what is eye pressure, she said it is like blood pressure which is related to heart and eye pressure is related to eye what the hell. Then she told me, don't worry we'll take another Dr. opinion, and took me to another cabin, that Dr tested my eyes and said everything is ok.the pressure was high may be because I was squeezing my eyes during the test.but that lady Dr was not satisfied and took me to her cabin and again took the bloody pressure test, and concluded it was high. I started feeling like what the hell is going on?
Then she asked me to visit again after a week and she'll do some other test, me and my husband asked for the reports but she denied to give them to us.it was suspicious. When I paid for the tests why can't I get the reports. Do hell with them. After I came home, I decided to not to go there anymore. They seemed to be fake about all the tests, they only want to suck money of their patients, and moreover all of their doctors were young and inexperienced.
But the worst THING is that I got severe eye infection after 2 days, may be it was due to pressure test done by them, they didn't clean the equipment before they did my test, they don't even have the sense to keep them cleaned after every test. I suffered a lot with the infection I got from there.
Thanks to Vasan for ruining my money and my eyes.
I'll never ever go there, and I recommend everyone to not to go there. Eyes are precious please don't harm them by visiting Vasan.
