I booked my tickets to Tirupathi in Varsha Travels for my family by Volvo A/C bus and paid Rs.555/- per ticket. The bus was scheduled for 7:00 pm at Madiwala. There was no sight of the bus till 11:00 pm. We were told that an alternate bus has been arranged till Haskote and Volvo bus from thereon.
A bus from Dhanush travels arrived at 12:15, which is non-AC and is in very bad condition. We refused to board the bus. The bus staff told that Haskote is just 10 km and the bus will be changed to Volvo.
The bus has not stopped at Haskote. When checked with the conductor, he said the bus has not arrived and he is in touch with the other bus. He would change the bus once it crosses them.
We were taken on the old bus for 3 hours and stopped at Andhra border. The other bus coming from Tirupathi has arrived after 30 mins, which is also non-AC. He moved all the passengers from the other bus to move into the bus we came.
All those passengers were shouting at Varsha Travels executives. The executives were very rude with the passengers and told them, if you wish, you get into the bus and go, else make your own arrangements. The passengers had no choice but to go in the non-AC bus.
The total journey took about 8 hours. It is empathetic the way Varsha Travels has responded or has any consideration for the customers. I suggest that the passengers travelling with Varsha are travelling with risk.
