After hearing a lot about this place, I decided to go here solely for the ambiance which is really soothing and of course for the food. I had long decided to try Indian here and compare it with the usual that we get and that's what I did.
First things first, the ambiance: - Truly soothing to the soul. When I visited, there weren't many people here just few and that's expected as I went a little later in the afternoon. I had high expectations from the place after hearing great reviews for it and reading some very impressive ones here. Truly, the ambiance did make a strong first impression.
Coming to the service: I was carrying a voucher with myself and decided to use it. I went for the butter chicken combo because as I said, I wanted to try something which I could compare with the usual that we get in other restaurants. Now, being more of a place to chill and have a few drinks, I had my doubts over the food but in terms of service, I was impressed. The staff was courteous and very well organized. I asked about plenty of dishes and the person taking my order, explained in detail. Full satisfaction here too.
Now the most vital part of my visit, the food:- The butter chicken came with 2 naan, I had the voucher of 500 which was redeemed, above that I had to make the payment of 80 more rupees, which meant a meal of butter chicken and 2 naan's costed me 580 rupees, a little expensive you'd say but considering the location of the place, ambiance and service, one can be satisfied if the food is good and that's the next part.
The butter chicken was TREMENDOUS. It was perfectly spiced, the butter was added just to the right amount and the pieces of chicken were grilled which enhanced the taste further, this made it truly marvelous. The quantity was slightly less for the price but the taste made up for it. 2 naan's were a little less so I ordered for more and eating alone, the meal was certainly fulfilling. My only suggestion to Vapour would be to raise the proportion of the meals because apart from that, it rocks in every department. I didn't take any drinks but seeing of what others were having, it certainly looked worth trying and will certainly be my choice of ordering the next time.
So, there it is. Vapour certainly stands out in the food department. If you're willing to spend a few bucks then be assured, Vapour will certainly provide you with quality food. Happy eating!:)
