WHAT IS ALL ABOUT A VAMPIRE?

After seeing this movie in the shop, I wondered - where did this one come from?. But now I got this move close to my heart. Vampires? We all know them - they are ferocious, with their sharp teeth, with some attitude towards the blood that is against humans and the blood bank.

But lets have another look at the different attitude of some vampires - just read the following lines from the movie.....the words of a vampire who is entirely different deep in the heart.....

''I am god's most desolate creature... A vampire with a mortal's heart. I destroyed the one who spawned me and I have sworn to destroy his entire bloodline... the ones who stole me from the warmth of the sun''.

I just read these lines on the back of the CD cover and I couldn't resist myself from taking this movie - tempted by a vampire? I became impressed even from the front cover designing of the movie - all got me into this and now I want to write about this movie badly.....

LIFE OF A VAMPIRE?

The one who is responsible for the death of Rebecca (Rodica Lupu), who was the lover of our hero Zacharey (David Gunn) and the one who is responsible for making Zacharey a vampire - both belongs to the race of the creatures of the night.

It has become Zachary’s goal to destroy all vampires, most especially Ash, one of the most powerful masters of the race, and rid the world of these evil blood suckers.

Although a vampire himself with those vampirical strengths and weaknesses, Zachary has a human soul which prevents him from going through the needs of his vampire body which seeks to quench his thirst for blood.

Ash has only two weaknesses - beautiful women and music. He finds his prey as he watches a concert being given by a pianist, Sophia (Kirsten Cerre) realises that she got some real talent.

Now Ash wants her as his bride - becoming another one of the vampire family! But Zachrey will do anything to prevent that and send Ash's soul to rest in peace. All that he has to do is to be finished before sunlight falls or even he will not be remaining in the fight.

He got a big sword for that and a determination which reflects in his face. At the same time, Ash is a more experienced vampire with high level confidence, powers and more supporters.

The movie gets to another phase as Sophia is invited to play at the club which belongs to the villain - Ash. Zachary discovers this and tries to stop Sophia from going, but just like what he said before getting an answer ''no'' from her - ''I was not her guardian''.

Sophia enters the club and finds herself imprisoned, all set to become a vampire as our hero is on the way to the place but is welcomed by Ash who is already expecting his arrival. Who will win - Zackrey or Ash? What will happen to Sophia? Will she become a vampire? You will find it more interesting than these questions......

IT IS HEART TOUCHING

The movie is really heart touching with those beautiful words and quotes from the journal of our hero. It is just a poetic and lovely way to explain happenings. The surroundings are really cool, I mean suiting the theme correctly even if there is not much of a special effect to talk about.

Just like any usual movie, blood and partial nudity comes at some intervals, but it doesn't decrease the thickness of the movie as they are avoidable and comparitively less.

As long as acting is considered, our hero is good with a vampirical face and espressions and some nice teeth. He has put some effort into the movie too. The villain is the typical vampire with that voice that chills the heart - more solid than ever, filled with a creepy feeling.

Kirsten Cerre, the heroine just looked almost ridiculous in the movie except for some scenes as she seemed to be joining smiling with crying as she looked similiar whatever she managed to do. What will we interpret if she does one of these. This is still confusing me upto an extent.

Anyways, if you are looking for a high speed, horror filled action thriller or something like that, this is going to disappoint you. What you will have is a slow paced heart touching emotional life of vampires split wide open in front of you - there are some horror factors and thrill as we are having a mysterious feeling in this movie.....this is not a famous movie and will be very hard to find, so start searching for it today itself if you find it of your choice.....
