Vallavan - Surely Entertain . Review on Vallavan Movie

One liner - Vallavan is just not for nallavans.

If you like a play where boy smooching a girl and take her to bedroom to spend a whole night with her and just getting rid of her parents in the morning , then you can go and watch vallavan.

I dont like to reveal the story , I just want to show some highlights with pros and cons in the movie.

Story begins with a traditional rajini style opening where simbu was showed in part by part and then a song for his fans who entering the hall blistering with whistles . Then illustration of simbu's character with his friends too much worried about simbu not having a girl friend of his likeness and then ended his serach for his girl ...Nayanthara..that too in a temple..(Boys dont waste time going to temple after seeing this movie she wont come there).

Simbu's love starts up there and suddenly put the brake when he found a hurdle ..nayanthara is 3 years older than him and also the lecturer working in his college he is studying and then picks up when simbu changed his look and then ends in bedroom heading towards marraige ...

The twist in the story really comes when nayanthara knows the truth that simbu is a liar and then the story deviates from nayanthara to reema sen with the flash back ..iam stopping it here since I promised not to reveal the whole plot.

Simbu's punch dialogue often make you think that he is pointing towards his limelight competitor and a dialogue " I dont like to marry an ambani's daughter to settle in my life rather I prefer to marry an ordinary girl whom I love and then I will become ambani " earned many claps from his fans.

Loosu pennae song was not that nicely picturised as I expected but rocks ...Reema Sen looks looks like a aunt in school dress with her matured look...(bad choice for that character )...Sandhya as simbu's friend not much in the movie ...Santhanam is trying to match Vivek's comedy but not with the timing ...

Simbu does well in dialogue delivery ... one particular dialogue with reema sen recollects padaiyappa and neelambari . Thats the best highlight scene I liked in the movie and simbu acted well with thundering dialogues and walks in style too .... that too when reema sen shouts " iam geetha " and simbu about a speak a word which was already got famous with one vivek's joke... everybody would have liked that sense of humour created by the director cum actor .

Just when the movie looks like boring and dragging , "Yammadi aathadi " song pushed everyone to the edge of the seat with tapping legs and simbu die-hard fans started dancing...wow...simbu danced like a hell in that song.that too with two glamourous girls..and there is a surprise too at the end of the song....( u will miss it in television channels ).

Then the climax ...which again reminds you padayappa ..

Overall I think the movie is a hit and iam not sure how big it is ..

PLUS :

1) Simbu's acting..he just gone to the next level and sure he will compete in boxoffice with ajith and vijay from now.

2) Nayanthara's new slim look ..she looks sexy as well as beautiful.

3) Fast paced screenplay...just like an express train stops just here and there.

4) Punch Dialogues -Specially designed for simbu's fans make them busy throughout the movie

5) Music :Its a Musical Hit and the songs are also well choreographed to help the box office..

MINUS :

1) Story :The plot really lacks the continuity and logic and looks like dragged ...just looks like joining two reels .

2) Direction :Still long way to go , it just looks like he directed this movie after watching S.J.Surya's movies

3) Resemblace of Movies :Certainly resembled Padaiyappa, Newand repeatance from Manmadhan.

4) Imitating Actor :Simbhu imitated vijay in many scenes with his body language and style.Cant find the reason behind it , I just assumed that he is tring to attract some vijay fans as he did in manmathan for Ajith.
