In the movie Vaastu shastra, I didn?t understand the reason for its title, when this word is used only once in the whole movie. Am quite stunned how the real Vaastu consultants permit or let it to be the title with no germane to it.

Like Bhoot, Ram Gopal Varma has done a good job with his sound effect team and the artists have performed their role well, but with no basic story line. Let me tell the story from my understanding, a healthy and happy family of charkavarthy, with his wife Sushmitha Sen , son and his sister-in-law shifts to this quite and calm bungalow.

As per his wife the Vaastu of the house is also perfect(this is where you hear the word Vaastu in whole movie), so they happily shift and faces the all sorts of problem little by little.

They disbelieves their son when he complains that he has seen many new, ugly and bad people in their house, but realizes only when Sushmitha?s sister is hanged with her boy friend. The director seems to be inspired and copied the climax of the movie ?Dawn of the dead?. Only heroine is able to escape from the ghost with her son.

Nobody understands even after watching the movie, why is the ghost slaughtering people residing in that house. The story doesn?t provide any valid reason for it.

So people who really needs answers for the above questions or who thinks about the story then, it?s a waste of time. But it is a real thriller and horror movie on a good sound effect theater.

It was real fun to watch the people shutting their eyes and ears, grabbing and sticking to the next seat people out of fear (I think but the real reason only they should explain.
