Quite effective in removing tan. Review on VLCC Insta Glow Herbal Bleach

VLCC is an Indian health and wellness brand known for its premium quality skin care products that are reasonably priced. My skin got tanned badly after the Chennai trip we made last month. So I was looking for a bleach that could possibly help reduce the tanning I developed after over-exposure to the sun. To be honest, I try to avoid bleach as much as possible as it contains a lot of harmful chemicals. But this time, unluckily for me none of the natural bleaching agents like tomato juice and lemon seemed to do any justice to my over-tanned skin. After a friend's recommendation I decided to get VLCC Insta Glow Herbal Bleach. I got the product from one of the Health & Glow stores in Bangalore.

The bleach comes in a small green outer carton with all the key ingredients clearly listed on it. Inside contents include a medium-sized plastic tub containing bleach, a tiny tub containing powder activator and a small sachet containing the post bleach pack, a spatula, a pamphlet with instructions for application. The only thing I didn't like about the packaging was that the bleach tub did not have an inner lid as most other bleaches do.

The bleach had a thick and creamy consistency with a lovely pista green color. The activator also had a pale green color. On mixing them both, I got a creamy mixture that had a uniform consistency and was easy to apply. I left the bleach on my skin for about 20 minutes because this is what has always worked for me irrespective of what's mentioned in the instructions. I especially liked the pleasant herbal fragrance of this product. After application, I felt a little tingling sensation which is quite normal with any bleaching agent. The product was easy to remove as it was still wet and did not dry out. This bleach did bring a little glow to my dull and tired skin. Next day my face looked a lot better with most of the tan gone. I've a very sensitive skin so I'm very cautious when it comes to choosing face care products. Thankfully, this bleach did not cause any breakouts or irritate my skin. Moreover, this product is quite economically priced and it did last me a really long time( maybe because I do not bleach that often).

I'm quite satisfied with the results I got after using this herbal bleach from VLCC and I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a bleach that's affordable and also less harmful  to the skin when compared to regular chemical bleaches.
