Since mtv have channel v are full of reality shows and nonsense entertainment I decided to try out vh1 and it simply outstands mtv and channel v.
vh1 is a proper music channel, the shows are divided into your type of music, if you are a rock fan you should see the rock rules programme.
If you like hip hop then hip hop hustle is the thing for you.
They even play old classics, show making of music videos, my favourite show is pimp my ride where they customise old cars and trust me they do an excellent job, you get to know about the latest engines, music systems, electronics, etc.... I even like yo mama which is a rapping show, hilarious and entertaining, other shows like punkd, cribs are also good, they manage to balance music and relity tv which is excellent, mtv and channel v should learn from vh1, would definately recommend you to check this 1 out.
