I bought a Usha international geyser on 11-11-18, Misty 15 L, colour grey. As informed at the time of sale, the installation was free and the installation time was within 2 day. But for those initial 2 days i didn't got any call from the company side for installation. On 3rd or 4th I got a call for installation and the executive asked for some parts which needs to be provided at the time of installation (geyser pipe, nuts and 3 pin plug, even thred sheild tape). I was actually surprised to hear that because everything which was required need to be provided by me only, the executive was coming just to drill and mount it. I think it's better to pay someone INR 100 instead of waiting so long.
Regarding this issue I had a detailed discussion with the company's representative. As per them it's a company policy and it's common within the industry. But when I asked about not providing the electricity supply plug, they provide me following reasons for that:
1) its a company policy, hence not providing the same
2) no company is providing the same
3) it is for customer convenience to extend the wire
4) its a basic model, hence not providing the same
All given justifications are really illogical. I think it's just a way of cost cutting and making fool of their customers. Company has international in their name but they are actually way behind to any other local company. Also the kind of response which I received shows that the company does not have trained customer service executive.
So if you are planning to buy this company's products then just keep following things in your mind:
1) cost of installation parts
2) services delivery time
3) 3 pin plug which is not available with the product
4) worst customer service department
