PLUS POINTS

Positive Temperature Coefficient Technology prevents overheating, have long life & low operating cost

Looks really cool(good design)

No sharp edges

Comes in three colours: white, pink and blue

Tip over switch

Thermostat for controlling Temperature

Oscillating Function

Somewhat safe for children(not completely safe)

Easy to carry to any location

NEGATIVE POINTS

No Indicator Light(Hard to see in dark)

Controls too keep oscillating with heater, so it becomes little tricky to stop oscillation

Similar heaters comes with 1000W & 2000W, USHA 1100W & 1800W

Costlier than similar heaters of other makes

Instruction Manual: It tells about most precautions in starting then it goes into Blunder.

Two same Diagrams are printed explaining about part names.

The Diagram also shows Air Inlet section in opened position; but there is no info. whether it can be opened to clean Air Filter or not.

Little explanation how to use Thermostat, it says use+/- to increase/decrease temperature

Moving on it says to see Maintenance Section which they forgot to print in hurry I guess.

Most people don't read Instruction Manual which is a wrong practice. So no or less effort is shown by many companies to make Instruction Manual useful or understanding.

Luckily I know how to use Thermostat in any kind of Heater, so I want to share this info.

First set the Heating to Low or High & Thermostat to Highest position.

Now after some time whenever you feel that the room is hot enough and you don't need to heat the room further, rotate the Thermostat in anti clockwise direction until the heater stops(Stop the Thermostat immediately at the point where Heater stops)

Now whenever the Temp. goes down the current state, the Heater will start again and it will stop when the set Temp. is reached.

UPDATE: After using it for a month or so, the knob for heat setting started skipping and ultimately stopped working.

So I contacted Customer Care and have been contacting them daily for so many days but they don't even bothered to call back or visit my home despite many reminders.

Finally my complaint was attended after a good 17 days and the problem was fixed.

Ignoring a customer is a serious problem and I would not recommend such a product where there is no customer support and customer has to go through lot of problems.

Being a reputed company this is not expected from USHA.

Thats all.
