Quite a mouthful you gave to the horn-happy driver at the traffic light. Road rage or outrage is not good for you.Take a chill pill have some feel-good food.Food some live for it some die without it.

It helps you to stay alive & kicking but it is not just responsible for bestowing you with energy or keeping your hourglass shape intact and your skin aglow. Food also decide your temperament, and the way you behave and react. There are certain foods that calm you by actually relaxing your nerves. Sounds too goog to be true? Read On…

OATMEAL:  A magical food, oatmeal strengthens the nervous system & has tranquilising and relaxing effect. It can be cooked with milk or water. Add some fruit to it and turn it into super nutritious snack.

CASHEW NUTS: High in iron, cashew nuts are great for lifting you out of  your blues. Taking 20 medium cashew nuts three times a week is a deal. However, if  you are among the extremely calorie conscious, Avoid!

WALNUTS:  Walnut contain melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep and also act as a powerful antioxidant. Consuming walnut in the evening leads to sound sleep. Next time you feel sleepless, you know what to gorge on:-)

SUNFLOWER SEEDS: A great  source of magnesium, sunflower seeds regulate muscle tone and calm the nerves by preventing calcium from rushing into the nerve cells and stimulating them.

CARDAMOM: Regular intake of cardamom sharpens and stimulates the mind. It also counters premenstrual tension and attendant irritation

CHOCLATE CHUCKLES: Consuming chocolates increases endorphin in the brain, making a person happier & calmer.

Another reason to be Chocoholic

KEY TIP:  To being happy and calm through the day is to take smaller meals and snacks rich in carbohydrates. These trigger serotonin production. When you are in a lousy mood, a glass of warm milk or a cup of hot tea can also work wonders.

TIPS TO MANAGE YOUR MOOD:

  • Eat  frequent, small meals and snacks* Drinkl Plenty of WaterExercise for atleast 20 minutes a day. *Avoid an extremely low fat diet; quick weight loss is bad for your mood. * Never Skip BreakfastEat lot of Fruits and veggies.

Pls write comments in a good mood only:-p
